You can register for classes by writing to, or calling the instructor at (303) 905-7332 for a registration form, or by filling out the registration form on line.

How do I pay for classes:

On-Site Classes: You can pay by check , cash or cashier's check at the time of class , for college credit and inservice credit.

Independent Study and On-Line Classes: You can pay by credit card for college credit. You can pay by check for inservice credit.

Do you use a secure server for credit card transactions?

No.Credit cards can only be used for Independent Study and On-Line classes taken for college credit. If you don't wish to send your credit card information over non-secured e-mail, you can call Adams State College 1-800-548-6679 and give the information over the phone.

How do I get a Transcript?

You can mail a written request, including your social security number to Adams State College, Alamosa, CO 81102 along with a check for $4.00 (four dollars).or send a fax to Adams State College 1-719-587-7974

How long does it take to get a transcript?

For college credit: Adams State College processes transcript requests immediately upon receipt. You can expect to receive a copy as fast as the mail can do a turn around.

For Inservice Credit: As soon as you have completed a class and your work is graded by the instructor, a transcript will be issued to you automatically. No charge.

What outside work for the onsite classes is required to get the 3 hrs. graduate credit?

Work outside the classroom is structured so as to be practical and relevant to you personally and professionally.

Yes.

What work is involved in the classes taken for independent study?

If you want to take a class as an independent study, you will follow a study guide to complete a workbook ,read and respond to book(s) related to the topic, and write an evaluation paper about what you have learned from this course.

How long does it take to complete an independent study course?

Adams State College requires a minimum of six weeks to complete an independent studies course. You have a maximum of one year to complete.
